Greenville, NC – Day One

Here’s just one shot of Chad in Greenville. It late and im tired so I’ll post up more later. We were at this spot for like 20 mins, we got the shot, then as we were leaving a guy comes out and asks us to leave, so we said we were on our way out. We got to the car, and a cop comes cruising up on a segway, once again telling us to leave. Then shortly after a cop car pulls up behind us. So we just bounce. Greenville cops must not get much excitement.

Sekonic L-358…

Picked this baby up yesterday, haven’t had a chance to use it yet, but it should help out a lot in lighting situations. I’m in Greenville, NC for the weekend so I should be able to give it a good test run. Pretty stoked on it.

Flying skateboards.

I was thinking about this photo the other day, and thought I would look it up. One of the things about skate photography, ecspecially with a fisheye, you have to get in so close to get a good shot. You also have to be sure to get the skaters face in the shot as well. Well, the problem with that is you have to place yourself in a pretty dangerous spot, making you vunerable to flying skateboards. On this particular shot, Tom was going for a feeble and shot his board out, luckily (thanks to my cat-like reflexes) I got the shot off and got the camera out of the boards wrath. My shoulder wasn’t so lucky.
