We shot these photos a few weeks ago at Poplar Grove Plantation in Wilmington, NC. I haven’t been here in a while so I was pretty excited when Colleen decided on this location. They brought their dog Wrigley along for some of the pictures and he hung in there like a champ. Nolan is a pilot in the Marine Corp and is stationed in Jacksonville, but they’re originally from Seattle. I had a great time with these two, wish I could shoot their upcoming wedding in Seattle!
We headed down to Fort Fisher for Alex and Kristin’s Engagement Session last Tuesday. This is one of my favorite places to shoot, I always come back with some unique images, regardless of how many times i’ve shot there. It was also my first session with the new equipment and I’m really diggin the way things are looking. I have a bridal session and another engagement session this weekend, so keep an eye out for those. I had a fun engagement session with James and Misty in downtown Wilmington, NC one afternoon. Started down at Chandlers Wharf and cruised around Front Street, Water Street and the Riverwalk. Came back with some great images. I look forward to shooting their wedding next year! Congrats Guys!
